Cody Carpenter was introduced to his first musical instrument around the age of three and has been playing and composing original music since. His most notable composing works include Cigarette Burns and Pro-Life in Showtime's Masters of Horror (2005) movie series. In 2018, Cody joined his father and Daniel Davies in scoring the reboot of Halloween.

アメリカ合衆国ロサンゼルス出身。ジョン・カーペンターの実息。オムニバスシリーズ「マスターズ・オブ・ホラー」(‘05〜’07) でジョン・カーペンター監督作品のエピソード「世界の終わり」「グッバイベイビー」の音楽を担当した。「ハロウィン」(‘18)に続き、「ハロウィン・キルズ」「ハロウィン・THE END」でもジョン・カーペンター、ダニエル・デイヴィスと共同で音楽を手掛けた。全米やヨーロッパでライブツアーを行なっている。 |
Cody co-wrote, co-produced, and performed on the acclaimed Lost Themes (2015-2021) trilogy of albums with his father and Daniel Davies. From 2016-2018, Cody toured North America and Europe with his father and a 6 piece band, performing material from both Lost Themes albums and his father's films.

米国ロサンジェルス市のオキシデンタル大学(アジア学専攻)卒業。高校より日本語の勉強を始め、大学在学中に東京国際大学へ留学。帰国後も日本語の勉強を続け、卒業後は日本に住みたいと再来日。日本文化に造詣が深く、現在は英会話や日本語→英語の翻訳を手掛けている。
